The Santa and Sleigh stamps in four designs in a pressure-sensitive adhesive booklet of 20 stamps.
The U.S. Postal Service’s® holiday stamps for 2012 feature a “classic” image of Santa and his reindeer circling around snow-covered rooftops. The scene is composed of four different stamp designs in two rows of two stamps each.
Art director Howard E. Paine worked with illustrations by Paul Rogers in creating these gems. And this year, Operation Santa observes its 100th anniversary!

| In 2013, the U.S. Postal Service® proudly presents A Flag for All Seasons, featuring four different stamp designs. Each stamp shows an American flag, viewed from below, flying from a pole at full staff against a background of trees that evoke one of the four seasons of the year.
Artist Laura Stutzman worked with art director and stamp designer Phil Jordan on this stamp art.

 | With the 2023 U.S. Flag stamp, the U.S. Postal Service honors an important symbol of our nation.
The stamp, which is being issued in booklets of 20, panes of 20, and coils of 100, 3,000, and 10,000, bears a straightforwardgraphic design of the red, white, and blue. Providing a solid foundation for the flag are the word FREEDOM in a gray slab sans seriffont and, below it, FOREVER/ USA in a smaller sans serif font. The manner in which the text is positioned suggests the enduranceof freedom as a core value.

| This stamp design features a photograph of the flag that flies over Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine in Baltimore, MD. This flag is a replica of the one that inspired Francis Scott Key to write “The Star-Spangled Banner” after realizing Fort McHenry had withstood the British attack of Sept.13-14, 1814.
The picture of the flag was taken against a backdrop of fireworks during an annual celebration of Defenders’ Day, a legal holiday in the state of Maryland commemorating the successful defense of the city of Baltimore on Sept. 12, 1814 from an invading British force during the War of 1812.
Photographer Gary Clark said it was a challenge to get the fireworks and the flag in the same shot and that “the wind picked up quite a bit that night.” Art director Phil Jordan designed the stamp.

| The fondest holiday memories often include the scent of warm ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and molasses used in gingerbread drifting throughout the house. With a little imagination and a lot of patience, gingerbread can be converted into a whimsical house decorated with stiff royal icing and sparkling candies.
Building gingerbread houses today can be as simple as buying kits or as complex as constructing small buildings from scratch, giving people of all skill levels the chance to create joyous holiday memories.
Baker Teresa Layman created the gingerbread houses specifically for these stamps. Sally Andersen-Bruce photographed them and art director Derry Noyes designed the stamps.

With the 2025 U.S, Flag stamp, the U.S. Postal Service continues its long tradition of honoring the flag of the UnitedStates. The stamp is available in booklets of 20, panes of 20, and coils of 100, 3,000, and 10,000.
Art director Antonio Alcal designed the stamp using a photograph by Doug Haight.
